My Story

I have always love being creative in many ways and have dabbled in folk art painting, ceramics, macrame, clay, and a range of other hobbies.

It wasn't until 2012 when I first found out I had Breast Cancer that I found I needed something to take my mind off my serious illness. This is when I started doing some art lessons once a week in Gladstone. 

I really loved how when I was there learning, I seemed to forget about my health situation and focus more on being in the moment and it helped my anxiety heaps. 

So, for many years I painted and painted with many mixed medias and all types of subjects.

Over the years I sold hundreds of paintings and realizing that once a painting was sold, that was gone.

I decided I wanted to be able to sell my art on other products that would be cheaper and more functional for more people and that's when I decided to look into sublimation and learn how to print myself.

Wow was this a learning curve for me and after much frustration, trails and lots of mistakes I finally have now mastered it.

I now print my own artwork onto Earrings, Mugs, Stubby Coolers, Placemats, Mouse Pads, Wine Glass Covers, Drink Coasters, Car Coasters, Magnets and Ceramic Pot Stands.

So, for the past couple of years, I have been selling my products mainly at Pop Ups and markets and online.

I also veered a little and started printing dog breeds on my products as well. These are not my original artwork, but I still do the printing and packaging and am working on my own dog breed paintings in this new year of 2025.

I am married with a wonderful husband who puts up with all my mess and helps me with my market stall props etc. 

I also have 8 grandchildren, and 4 grown up children.

We have cows, sheep, chooks, 2 dogs and a cat. 

We also live on a beautiful property which is my main source of inspiration.
